BIS
Biological instrumentation systems (BIS) supply lab equipment across the UK, they offer servicing and repar for a wide range of biological equipment.
Their old site was static HTML which did not follow the w3c standards and was difficult to maintain. Adding a new product involved having a web designer access the site via FTP clone an existing page and modify it with the new details, this lead to non uniform layouts on the pages and a nightmare for potental customers.
The new site has been designed to w3c standards, it has a simple to navigate product page (Which if required can be filtered by Product Group, Brand etc and of course the entire site is backed by our CMS system which allows the products and site content to be added/modified at any time by any member of staff with sufficient access to the site and enough knowlege to work a text editor!
